ClassiPI is a unified classification platform which enables a user to search multiple classification system using a single query. ClassiPI also provides mapping between multiple classification systems. Most importantly, ClassiPI finds the classification codes which are most relevant irrespective of it either being a child node or parent node.
To obtain a result pertaining to a specific classification system select the appropriate checkbox before hitting the search button. One or more than one selections are allowed.
No, we cannot enter a classification code along with a keyword. Keywords need to be entered along with keywords while classification codes need to be entered along with classification codes only.
By clicking on the themecode button a pop up containing all the viewpoints for the selected themecode will be displayed. Further, one can select one or more viewpoints by clicking on the checkboxes provided for the corresponding viewpoints.
Yes, search can be performed within the selected themecode using the search box provided on the top right hand corner of the popup. Further as an additional feature the selected relevant viewpoints from the popup will be appended automatically on the f-term list.
In order to get a relevant classification from the diverse classification systems, type the keywords in the search bar & click on the “KEYWORD SEARCH” button.
By default the ClassiPI provides Top 10 candidates. However, one can change the default number of the results displayed using the “TOP CANDIDATES” drop down list as per one’s requirement.
Yes, this can be accomplished by clicking on the “MAXIMIZE [ ] icon” present on the top right hand corner of the table. Further, this provision is only enlisted for CPC classification system.
The checkboxes which are selected will lead to the classification codes being copied and displayed on the top of the classification table box. Further, one can copy and clear the selection using buttons provided therein.
No, ClassiPI will not consider any special or wildcard characters while processing a query. However, ClassiPI uses stemming feature which reduces a word to its word stem that affixes to suffixes and prefixes or to the root of words.
Enter the classification code, and select the relevant classification system to which the code belongs. Select the checkboxes for the required classification systems, and click on the “Search” button to see the equivalent classification mapping
